The invention relates to a full-automatic charging device and a charging method thereof, the full-automatic charging device comprises a base, the top of the base is provided with a charging port and a first electromagnet, and a plurality of lower positioning pieces are arranged between the first electromagnet and the charging port; a walking mechanism and a lifting mechanism are arranged on the base, and the lifting mechanism is used for driving the base to move up and down in the vertical direction; a power receiving part is arranged at the bottom of an electric vehicle, the power receiving part is provided with a power receiving port matched with the charging port, an attraction piece matched with the first electromagnet and an upper positioning piece connected with the lower positioning piece in an inserted mode, and a positioning mark is arranged on the upper positioning piece; a camera device, a power connector and a microprocessor are further arranged on the base, the camera device is used for obtaining the position of the positioning mark, the microprocessor is electrically connected with the camera device, the first electromagnet, the walking mechanism and the lifting mechanism, and the power connector is used for being electrically connected with a power supply device. Full-automatic charging can be achieved, and manual operation is not needed.
