The method comprises the following steps: acquiring image information in a no-parking area; performing vehicle target detection based on the image information in the no-parking area, and acquiring vehicle information of a corresponding target vehicle; judging whether the target vehicle moves according to the vehicle information of the target vehicle; if the target vehicle moves, generating corresponding suspected illegal parking information based on the target vehicle; after the target vehicle accumulatively generates two times of suspected illegal parking information, calculating a suspected illegal parking time difference between the current suspected illegal parking information and the last time of suspected illegal parking information; and if the suspected illegal parking time difference is greater than the set illegal parking time threshold, judging that the target vehicle is illegal parking, and generating corresponding illegal parking event information as a vehicle illegal parking identification result. According to the vehicle illegal parking identification method, whether the vehicle is illegal parking can be effectively judged in a complex application scene, so that the accuracy of vehicle illegal parking identification can be improved.
