The invention relates to a rocket recovery method and device. The key of the method is that: the movement direction or the movement track of inertial kinetic energy or potential energy of a rocket is transferred through assistance of instruments. A moving part is arranged on a runway or a track or a platform, a brake part or an energy storage part or a buffer part is connected between the moving part and the runway or the track or the platform, a guide part is arranged on the moving part, an energy storage part or a buffer part is arranged between the moving part and the guide part, and a receiving device is arranged on the guide part; and the receiving device is tubular, one or more layers of movable blocking nets are arranged in the tubular receiving device, the blocking nets are connected with tubular grippers, the motion of the blocking nets directly or indirectly drives the tubular grippers to move, and the motion of the blocking nets is hindered by elastic force. The shape of the guide part at least comprises a wheel shape, an arc shape or a leg shape; and the guiding form of the guide part at least comprises wheel type rotation guiding or arc-shaped sliding way guiding or leg type inclined guiding.
