The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a current inclination angle of a charging pile to obtain a first inclination angle; calculating the difference value between the first inclination angle and a preset inclination angle, obtaining a second inclination angle, and the preset inclination angle being the inclination angle obtained after the charging pile is installed; comparing the second inclination angle with a preset safety angle; and if the second inclination angle is smaller than the preset safety angle, allowing the charging pile to receive a charging request of a user. The inclination degree of the charging pile is detected, if the inclination degree of the charging pile does not exceed the preset safety angle, it is considered that the charging pile is safe, the charging pile is allowed to receive the charging request of the user, and the problem that danger occurs during charging due to inclination of the charging pile is solved.
