According to the obstacle intercepting device of the photoelectric construction hoist, when an obstacle falls from a high position, an intercepting basket intercepts the obstacle, the impact force on the intercepting basket by the obstacle is small through buffering effects of buffering rods and buffering springs, the obstacle in the intercepting basket can be further discharged through work of a sliding component and a discharging component, and in this way, the falling obstacle cannot directly hit a lift car, so that the hoist is not prone to being damaged.
