The invention relates to the field of machinery, in particular to a slow descent floater. The slow descent floater comprises a parachute, a connecting rod, a power and control part, an energy storage spring, a reset rope and a balance weight part. If the weight of the load is appropriate, the balance weight part is not needed, and the slow descent floater has the highest efficiency at the moment. The top of the parachute is rigidly connected with the power and control part through the connecting rod, the power and control part is rigidly connected with the upper end of the energy storage spring, the energy storage spring can be compressed through the reset rope, and therefore electric energy is converted into potential energy of the spring. The lower end of the energy storage spring is connected with the counterweight. A propeller (no wing) is not needed, so that the floater is relatively safe to personnel and does not depend on buoyancy. No high-speed running part is arranged, so that the floating is quiet. The self-weight is light and the efficiency is high. When the power is insufficient or even completely lost, slow descent can be achieved, and the floater is safe for loads and the floater.
