The invention provides a laser radar roadside blind area traffic participant avoidance method and device. The method comprises the steps: obtaining the information that a laser radar scans a to-be-recognized obstacle around an unmanned vehicle, and calculating a roadside blind area of the unmanned vehicle; determining the collision risk of the unmanned vehicle and the traffic participants appearing in the roadside blind area; and controlling the driving of the unmanned vehicle according to the existence of the collision risk. The situation that in the prior art, the unmanned vehicle can only carry out emergency braking on the traffic participants appearing in the roadside blind area, but the collision risk cannot be avoided can be avoided; and by judging the collision risk of the traffic participant and the unmanned vehicle in the roadside blind area, the unmanned vehicle is controlled to decelerate in advance, and safe driving of the unmanned vehicle is realized.

    本申请提供一种激光雷达路侧盲区交通参与者避让方法和装置,所述方法包括获取激光雷达扫描无人驾驶车辆周围的待识别障碍物的信息,计算无人驾驶车辆的路侧盲区;判断无人驾驶车辆与从所述路侧盲区中出现的交通参与者的碰撞风险;根据是否存在碰撞风险,控制无人驾驶车辆的行驶。能够避免现有技术中无人驾驶车辆只能对从路侧盲区出现的交通参与者采取紧急刹车,但无法避免碰撞风险的情况;通过判断路侧盲区出现交通参与者与无人驾驶车辆的碰撞风险,提前控制无人驾驶车辆进行减速,实现了无人驾驶车辆的安全驾驶。
