The invention discloses an unmanned aerial vehicle closed-loop positioning device and method based on optical communication, and the device and method are used for receiving an optical signal which can be received by an unmanned aerial vehicle at the most appropriate position through positioning during the optical communication of the unmanned aerial vehicle. In the method, a transmitting unmanned aerial vehicle transmits a time-varying LED matrix to a receiving unmanned aerial vehicle after performing coarse positioning on the receiving unmanned aerial vehicle by using a camera; the receiving unmanned aerial vehicle judges the relative position, the receiving light angle and the like of the receiving unmanned aerial vehicle according to the received data and feeds back to the transmitting unmanned aerial vehicle, and the two are continuously adjusted to achieve optimal information transmission.
