The system comprises a human-computer interaction interface configured to set a target layer of a pallet fork in an automatic mode; and a host controller connected with the human-computer interaction interface and configured to control a driving part of the pallet fork according to a target layer instruction of the human-computer interaction interface so that the pallet fork can automatically ascend and descend the target layer. According to the semi-automatic forklift system, the target layer of the pallet fork is input through the human-computer interaction interface, and the host controller controls the driving part of the pallet fork according to the target layer instruction output by the human-computer interaction interface so that the pallet fork can automatically ascend and descend to the target layer. The pallet fork automatically lifts to the target position in a fixed-layer and fixed-height mode, the time for positioning the pallet fork during manual operation can be saved, especially when high-layer materials are taken and placed, the pallet fork needs to be positioned and adjusted for multiple times due to sight shielding during manual operation, and the efficiency advantage of taking and placing the high-layer materials is more obvious based on the system. In addition, compared with an AGV forklift, the semi-automatic mode of human-computer cooperation is lower in cost and higher in speed.
