The control strategy comprises the following steps: acquiring vehicle condition information; based on the calibration information, judging a vehicle condition state to which the vehicle condition information belongs; and according to the vehicle condition state, enabling a warning indicator to select an operation mode for executing the warning tone. According to the control strategy, the vehicle condition state of the electric vehicle can be accurately judged based on the calibration information, the prompt tone operation mode is selected and executed according to the vehicle condition state, it is guaranteed that the sound level of the noise outside the whole vehicle of the electric vehicle meets the low-speed prompt tone standard, and meanwhile the noise outside the whole vehicle is prevented from being too large. According to the control strategy of the embodiment, firstly, the comfort of passengers in the vehicle can be guaranteed, complaints of road participants outside the vehicle on noise are avoided, and the situation of disturbing residents is avoided; secondly, unnecessary power output of the warning indicator is avoided, and energy can be saved; and thirdly, the control strategy can be applied to different types of electric vehicles, and the applicability is good.
