The invention belongs to the technical field of subways, and particularly relates to a connecting mechanism of a subway carriage, which comprises a cushioning cylinder, a first butt joint assembly and a second butt joint assembly, a damping cylinder is arranged at one end in the cushioning cylinder, a damping spring is arranged in the damping cylinder, and one end of the damping cylinder is connected with a movable disc. In use, when a subway is braked, a second butt joint disc moves towards the interior of a cushioning cylinder after being stressed, when a second butt joint plate moves, a telescopic column is driven to move at the same time, the telescopic column drives a movable disc to move towards one end in the cushioning cylinder, and when the subway is started, the movable disc moves to the other end in the cushioning cylinder. When a metro is braked or started, the movable disc moves towards the other end of the interior of the cushioning cylinder, and when the movable disc moves, the damping springs in the damping cylinders conduct damping and buffering on the butt joint disc, so that the effect of damping a compartment is achieved, and shaking generated when the metro is braked or started is effectively reduced.
