The invention relates to the technical field of motor controllers, in particular to a method for protecting a motor controller after a fault, which comprises the following steps of: 1, firstly, detecting the speed value of the highest rotating speed of a motor; 2, judging whether a motor controller breaks down or not; 4, detecting the direct-current voltage and the rotating speed of the motor when the motor controller breaks down; 5, detecting whether the rotating speed of the motor in the step 4 is greater than a threshold or not; 6, if the rotating speed of the motor is larger than the threshold, switching on all upper bridge arms or lower bridge arms of an IGBT module of the motor controller, entering an active short-circuit mode, and conducting braking; and 7, if the rotating speed of the motor is smaller than the threshold, quitting from the active short-circuit mode, and switching off all the upper bridge arms and the lower bridge arms to prevent sudden change of the braking torque. According to the strategy, response is rapid, back electromotive force generated by the motor is prevented from flowing backwards and damaging related parts such as a battery after an electric vehicle breaks down in high-speed operation, the safety of the electric vehicle is improved, and the service life of the electric vehicle is prolonged.

    本发明涉及电机控制器技术领域,具体是一种电机控制器故障后的保护方法,包括以下步骤:步骤一、首先检测电机最高转速的速度值;步骤二、判断电机控制器是否发生故障;步骤四、检测电机控制器发生故障时的直流电压和电机转速;步骤五、检测步骤四中的电机转速是否大于阈值;步骤六、若电机转速大于阈值,电机控制器IGBT模块全部上桥臂或下桥臂开通,进入主动短路模式,进入主动短路模式,进行制动;步骤七、若电机转速小于阈值,退出主动短路模式,且上下桥臂全部断开,防止制动力矩突变,本发明策略响应迅速,避免电动车高速运行故障后,电机产生的反电动势倒灌,损坏电池等相关零部件,提高了电动汽车的安全性及使用寿命。
