The invention discloses a ventilation system for a ship machinery place, which comprises an air supply unit communicated with an air inlet and an air exhaust unit communicated with an air outlet and further comprises a first frequency converter, a second frequency converter and a sensor, and the first frequency converter and the second frequency converter are electrically connected with the sensor. The PID module of the first frequency converter processes signals of the sensor and then outputs the signals to the air supply unit, and the PID module of the second frequency converter processes the signals of the sensor and then outputs the signals to the air exhaust unit. According to the ventilation system for the ship machinery place, the PID module in the frequency converter is used for simply processing the signal of the sensor and then outputting the signal to the air supply unit or the air exhaust unit, so that the function of simply controlling the air exhaust unit and the air supply unit is achieved, no extra controller needs to be arranged, the structure is simple, and the cost is low. Meanwhile, different frequency converters are arranged to control the air supply unit and the air exhaust unit respectively, so that a better adjusting effect is achieved.
