The invention relates to an electric vehicle charging monitoring system. The system comprises a WIFI communication module, a plurality of slave charging monitoring modules and a master charging monitoring module, wherein each of the slave charging monitoring modules and the master charging monitoring module comprises a monitoring board and a wireless communication unit which are connected with each other; the monitoring boards are connected with charging piles to be regulated and controlled in a one-to-one correspondence mode; all the wireless communication units are sequentially connected in series to form a ring network structure; and the monitoring board in the master charging monitoring module is connected with a local monitoring main station through the WIFI communication module. According to the invention, the problem of low communication reliability caused by the need of path breaking and poor anti-interference capability in the prior art is solved.
