The invention discloses a crane and a crane arm lifting method, relates to the field of engineering machinery, and aims to improve the arm lifting action of the crane. The crane comprises a vehicle body, a main arm, an auxiliary arm, a first amplitude changing device and a second amplitude changing device. The first end of the main arm is mounted on the vehicle body in a variable-amplitude manner. The first end of the auxiliary arm and the second end of the main arm are switched between rotatable connection and fixed connection; a walking mechanism is mounted at the second end of the auxiliary arm. The first amplitude changing device is in driving connection with the main arm to realize amplitude changing of the main arm. The second amplitude changing device is borne by the main arm and is in driving connection with the auxiliary arm, so that the auxiliary arm in a rotatable connection state with the main arm can change the amplitude relative to the main arm. According to the technical scheme, the arm lifting difficulty is effectively reduced; the same main arm and the same auxiliary arm are used, so that the working condition of the main arm, the working condition of the auxiliary arm, the working condition of a fixed auxiliary arm and the working condition of a tower arm can be realized under the condition that the auxiliary arm is not disassembled and assembled for the second time; due to the fact that the upsetting moment during arm lifting is smaller, the arm lifting length is increased, and the operation height is increased.

    本发明公开了一种起重机以及起重机起臂方法,涉及工程机械领域,用以改善起重机的起臂动作。起重机包括车体、主臂、副臂、第一变幅装置以及第二变幅装置。主臂的第一端可变幅地安装于车体。副臂的第一端与主臂的第二端在可转动连接和固定连接之间切换;副臂的第二端安装有行走机构。第一变幅装置与主臂驱动连接,以实现主臂变幅。第二变幅装置由主臂承载,且与副臂驱动连接,以实现处于与主臂可转动连接状态的副臂相对于主臂变幅。上述技术方案,有效降低了起臂难度;并且使用同一套主臂和副臂,在不二次拆装副臂的情况下,既能够实现主臂工况,也能实现副臂工况,固定副臂工况和塔臂工况均可实现;由于起臂时的倾覆力矩更小,所以提高了起臂长度,增加作业高度。
