The invention relates to an automobile electric power variable-steering-tooth-ratio steering rack which comprises a variable-pitch rack body, a row of meshing teeth are arranged on the variable-pitch rack body, and the tooth spaces of the meshing teeth are arranged in a sparse, dense and sparse mode, including a middle small-transmission-ratio section (a), transition sections (b) symmetrically arranged on the two sides of the small-transmission-ratio section (a), and large-transmission-ratio sections (c) symmetrically arranged on the outer sides of the transition sections (b). By means of sparse, dense and sparse arrangement, stable driving can be kept at a high speed, lane changing is sensitive at a low speed, and therefore better controllability is achieved during parking. The lower transmission ratio of the central part of the rack can ensure smooth steering action in the initial stage of steering operation, and the higher transmission ratios of the two ends of the rack ensure that quick response can be obtained in the steering operation when the steering angle is larger, so that the operation of the limit steering angle is easier.
