The method comprises the following steps: acquiring traffic flow of each phase of each intersection on a trunk line; according to the traffic flow of each phase, determining a public period of each intersection, the actual display green light time of each phase of each intersection and the absolute phase difference of each intersection; and correspondingly configuring the public period, the actual display green light time of each intersection and the absolute phase difference of each intersection to a signal controller of each intersection so as to realize trunk line green wave coordination signal control. According to the invention, the trunk line green wave coordination signal is dynamically adjusted according to the traffic flow of each phase, and the traffic efficiency of vehicles is improved.
