The embodiment of the invention provides a fault diagnosis method and device, electronic equipment and a readable storage medium, and relates to the technical field of automobiles, the fault diagnosis method and device are applied to a low-voltage storage battery pack of a hybrid electric vehicle, and the low-voltage storage battery pack is composed of a first storage battery and a second storage battery which are connected in series and used for supplying power to a whole vehicle control system of the hybrid electric vehicle; the first storage battery is used for supplying power to an engine of the hybrid electric vehicle; the method comprises the steps of detecting a first voltage value of the low-voltage storage battery pack; if the first voltage value meets a first early warning condition, executing at least one of the following operations: judging whether a second voltage value of the first storage battery meets a second early warning condition, and if not, reporting fault information of the first storage battery; and judging whether a third voltage value of the second storage battery meets a third early warning condition, and if not, reporting fault information of the second storage battery. The problems that the fault detection precision of a low-voltage storage battery of an existing hybrid electric vehicle is not enough, and fault positioning is not accurate are solved.
