The invention discloses an accompanying unmanned aerial vehicle system and relates to the field of unmanned aerial vehicle platforms. The system is provided with: a mobile platform; an unmanned aerial vehicle which is used for following the mobile platform; a beacon which is loaded on the mobile platform, and is provided with a positioning module; a communication module which is wirelessly connected with the beacon and the unmanned aerial vehicle through the communication module; an operation system which is connected with the communication module and is used for acquiring position information of the unmanned aerial vehicle and the mobile platform and setting an operation instruction; wherein the beacon transmits position information of the mobile platform to the operation system in real time through the communication module, the operation system sends an operation instruction, and the unmanned aerial vehicle executes the operation instruction and adjusts the flight state of the unmanned aerial vehicle. The invention further discloses an unmanned aerial vehicle accompanying flight control method; through accurate positioning communication between the beacons and the unmanned aerial vehicle, the flight vector-speed and direction of the unmanned aerial vehicle are adjusted in real time, and multiple unmanned aerial vehicle flight control modes of mobile takeoff, locking following, free accompanying flight and return flight landing are achieved.
