The present invention relates to a battery housing device for an electric vehicle, the device comprising: a housing coupled to a lower part of a vehicle floor and having a built-in battery module, and including an air suction port into which air for cooling the battery module flows and an air discharge port from which air after cooling the battery module is discharged; a suction duct communicating with the air suction inlet above the vehicle floor and extending into the room to guide air in the room into the housing; and a discharge duct communicating with the air discharge port and extending indoors or outdoors at a position spaced apart from the suction duct to discharge the air after cooling the battery module to the outside of the case. In the apparatus, a housing is disposed below a vehicle floor to secure an indoor space, and a battery module is cooled using indoor air, thereby simplifying a cooling structure and reducing manufacturing costs.
