The present invention relates to a method for determining the energy demand of at least one electrically operated motor vehicle (100) from a multiplicity of electrically operated motor vehicles (100), each having at least one energy store (102) per motor vehicle (100), each having a detection unit (106) for detecting a state of charge (104) of the at least one energy store (102) and each having a transmitter unit (108) for wireless transmission of the detected state of charge (104) per motor vehicle (100), a cloud system (50) with a receiver unit (54) for the wireless reception of the at least one detected state of charge (104) of the at least one energy store (102) of the at least one electrically operated motor vehicle (100), with an evaluation unit (56) for evaluating the at least one detected state of charge (104) and with a supply unit (52) for supplying the at least one evaluated state of charge (104). The present invention further relates to an energy-demand-determining system (1) for carrying out the method.
