The present invention relates to a system and method for enhancing the operation of an electric vehicle. The electric vehicle has a main battery for powering an electric drive motor, is drivable by the electric drive motor, and includes at least one air intake device operable to capture and direct air flow through the air intake device to at least one turbine adjacent to an outlet end of the air intake device to drive the turbine to generate the first electrical energy at a first energy level when the vehicle is moving forward or the vehicle is stationary, and/or includes one or more photovoltaic solar panels which are integrated with or adjacent to one or more body components of the electric vehicle and are adapted to generate a first energy at a first energy level. An auxiliary battery pack connected to an electrical energy outlet of the turbine and/or the photovoltaic panel receives and stores the electrical energy generated by the turbine and/or the photovoltaic panel. A first auxiliary motor can be driven by the second battery pack for rotating the output shaft of the first auxiliary motor for rotating the auxiliary battery pack for driving the output shaft of the first auxiliary motor. A second auxiliary motor has an input shaft connected to an output shaft of the first auxiliary motor, and the second auxiliary motor has an output terminal connectable to a vehicle main battery. A transmission couples the output shaft with the input shaft, provides a desired rotational speed boost from the first auxiliary motor to the second auxiliary motor whereby the second auxiliary motor can be driven to produce a second level of electrical energy at a second level. The second level is higher than the first level, and the second level of electrical energy can be supplied from the output terminal of the second auxiliary motor to the main battery and/or the drive motor of the vehicle.
