The invention relates to a novel portal crane rail clamping device. The device is composed of a motor, a box shell, a clamp, a baffle, a cam guide rod, a cylindrical cam, a driven shaft, a cam shell and the like. A motor shaft of the motor is connected with the cylindrical cam through a connecting key, the cylindrical cam is driven to rotate when the motor is started, the cylindrical cam drives the driven shaft to move downwards through a cam groove, and the driven shaft pushes the guide rod. One end of the guide rod is connected with the clamp; and when the driven shaft moves downwards, a sliding block in the clamp is driven to move downwards, and the sliding block is connected with the clamp to clamp a track. The device is simple in structure and convenient to operate, can play a good anti-falling and anti-slipping effect, well solves the defects that an original portal crane rail clamping device is tedious in operation, not easy to observe and the like, and can effectively guarantee the operation safety of a portal crane.
