The invention relates to an automobile suspension stabilizing system and method based on a transverse hydraulic cylinder. The stabilizing system at least comprises a first stabilizing unit, a second stabilizing unit and a hydraulic adjusting unit, and the first stabilizing unit and the second stabilizing unit are connected with the hydraulic adjusting unit through the hydraulic adjusting unit; the first hydraulic cylinders in the first stabilizing unit are transversely arranged between the first row of wheels advancing side by side, and the second hydraulic cylinders in the second stabilizing unit are transversely arranged between the second row of wheels advancing side by side. At least two energy accumulators at different sides in the hydraulic adjusting unit connect the first hydraulic cylinder and the second hydraulic cylinder from different sides through oil pipes. When the automobile steers, the whole suspension system reduces the acting force of the stretching side wheels on the pressed side wheels, the effect of a transverse stabilizer bar between the wheels at the two sides is achieved, and the automobile body is prevented from further rolling. When the automobile crosses the country, the stress directions of wheels on the same side are different, the suspension stroke of the suspension system is increased, and the cross-country ability is improved.
