The invention discloses a parking space detection method based on a millimeter-wave radar. The method comprises the following steps by combining the millimeter-wave radar and a camera: configuring the millimeter-wave radar; recording a background; performing target detection in the field of view; sending a trigger signal; performing license plate recognition; processing parking space information; and continuously monitoring the occupied parking space. The method is simple in principle, high in operation speed, high in real-time performance, capable of filtering environmental clutters, judging the target motion direction and distinguishing people and vehicles, capable of achieving accurate giving of trigger signals and high in intelligent degree. The empty scene background is compared with the real-time detection result, and the parking space condition is continuously monitored, so that whether a vehicle exists in the current parking space or not can be judged in time, the idle condition of the parking space is known, and the utilization rate of the parking space is improved; and meanwhile, the equipment is low in cost and easy to install and maintain.
本发明公开了一种基于毫米波雷达的车位检测方法,该方法通过毫米波雷达和摄像头结合的方式实现以下步骤:毫米波雷达配置;背景记录;视场内目标检测;发出触发信号;车牌识别;车位信息处理;对已占用车位持续监测。该发明原理简单,运算速度快,实时性高,可过滤环境杂波,对目标运动方向进行判断并人车区分,实现触发信号的准确给出,智能化程度高。利用空场景背景与实时检测结果进行比对,持续监测车位情况,可及时判断当前车位内是否有车,从而了解车位的闲置状况,提升车位的利用率,同时设备成本低,安装维护简单。
