The invention relates to a bridge crane installation construction method, and belongs to the field of road and bridge construction methods. The bridge crane installation construction method comprises the following steps: (1) conducting construction preparation and hoisting system stress checking calculation; (2) installing a hoisting system; (3) disassembling a bridge crane into five parts of a main beam, a trolley frame, a main lifting device and an auxiliary lifting device; (4) hoisting the main beam by means of the hoisting system; and (5) hoisting the other parts of the bridge crane by means of the hoisting system; The hoisting system comprises a supporting assembly and a traction assembly, the supporting assembly comprises a supporting frame, the supporting frame comprises a hoisting point anchoring plate and supporting legs connected with the hoisting point anchoring plate, the traction assembly comprises a pulley block and a traction rope arranged on the pulley block in a penetrating mode, one end of the traction rope is connected with a clamping assembly used for being connected with a crane component, and the other end of the traction rope is used for being connected with a winch. The bridge crane installation construction method has the effect of improving the construction efficiency of installation of the bridge crane in a narrow tunnel.
