The invention provides an aircraft that can safely and efficiently transition from hovering to horizontal flight. This aircraft comprises: a lift generation part such as a main wing; a thrust generation part that makes it possible to achieve flight and hovering; and a connection part that displaceably connects the lift generation part and the thrust generation part such that the lift generation part can maintain a positive angle of attack relative to a flight direction, at least during hovering. Said configuration makes it possible to transition safely from hovering to horizontal flight.
