The invention belongs to the technical field of automobile steering control, and discloses a method for improving low-speed maneuverability of an automobile, which comprises the following steps of: judging whether a current brake-assisted steering function is activated or not; if yes, executing a second strategy of rear wheel steering angle actuation, so that the rear wheel steering angle immediately reaches the rear wheel steering angle extreme value; if not, obtaining the vehicle speed V; judging whether the vehicle speed V is smaller than a first preset vehicle speed V1 or not; if yes, automatically activating the rear wheel auxiliary steering function, and executing a rear wheel steering angle actuation first strategy to enable the rear wheel steering angle to gradually reach the rear wheel steering angle extreme value; and if it is detected that the braking auxiliary steering function is activated after the rear wheel steering angle actuation first strategy process is executed, executing a rear wheel steering angle actuation second strategy to cover the rear wheel steering angle actuation first strategy. According to the method, a brake auxiliary steering function and a rear wheel auxiliary steering function are combined, and differential motion of left and right wheels and rear wheel auxiliary steering in a larger range are achieved during low-speed steering, so that the minimum turning diameter is remarkably reduced.

    本发明属于汽车转向控制技术领域,公开了一种提升汽车低速机动性的方法,包括以下步骤:判断当前制动辅助转向功能是否激活;若是,执行后轮转向角作动第二策略使后轮转向角立即达到后轮转向角极值;若否,获取车速V;判断车速V是否小于第一预设车速V1;若是,后轮辅助转向功能自动激活,执行后轮转向角作动第一策略使后轮转向角逐渐达到后轮转向角极值;若在执行后轮转向角作动第一策略过程后检测到制动辅助转向功能激活,执行后轮转向角作动第二策略覆盖后轮转向角作动第一策略。该方法将制动辅助转向功能和后轮辅助转向功能相互结合,在低速转向时实现更大范围的左右车轮差动及后轮辅助转向,从而显著降低最小转弯直径。
