The tramcar charging system comprises a circuit breaker system, a ground charging system, a charging pile system and an identification system; the circuit breaker system is used for isolation and on-off of a traction substation and a ground charging system; the ground charging system is used for converting a power supply accessed by a traction substation into a required power supply and then supplying power to the charging pile system; the charging pile system enables a charged conductor rail to be in a working position after receiving a power supply signal transmitted by the ground charging system; and the recognition system detects whether the tramcar is located in a charging area or not in real time, and the ground charging system charges the tramcar after the tramcar is located in the charging area and meets charging conditions. The system can realize the function of directly charging the vehicle.
