The invention relates to the technical field of empennages of unmanned aerial vehicles, in particular to an unmanned aerial vehicle empennage which comprises a horizontal empennage, a vertical empennage and a sliding rod, a part of the sliding rod is arranged in an unmanned aerial vehicle body, and the sliding rod in the unmanned aerial vehicle body is slidably sleeved with a sliding cylinder; a horizontal oil cylinder and a vertical oil cylinder are arranged in the unmanned aerial vehicle body. One end of a piston rod of the horizontal oil cylinder is hinged to the end of the sliding rod. The vertical oil cylinder is hinged to the middle of the sliding cylinder. The horizontal oil cylinder and the vertical oil cylinder are controlled by a control system; a piston rod of the vertical oil cylinder is provided with a first displacement sensor and a first force sensor which are connected with a first controller; a piston rod of the horizontal oil cylinder is provided with a second displacement sensor and a second force sensor which are connected with the second controller; the unmanned aerial vehicle is further provided with a flight state monitoring module. The position of the empennage of the unmanned aerial vehicle relative to the unmanned aerial vehicle body is accurately and finely adjusted in real time through axial stretching and vertical swinging, and it is guaranteed that the unmanned aerial vehicle adapts to a new flight environment and a new flight attitude.
