The self-adaptive intelligent grading escalator system is provided with an environment input device, a grading escalator body and a control module. The input end of the control module is electrically connected with the environment input device. The input end of the control module is electrically connected with a power control unit in the escalator body. By recognizing moving objects in an area, buffer feature data between the moving objects are generated, inclination data of the working environment of an escalator are calculated, the self-adaptive target carrying speed is calculated through the inclination data, the carrying speed of a main escalator is controlled according to the self-adaptive target carrying speed, the speed is increased to half of the target carrying speed in advance through a front escalator, safety is improved, flexibility and environment adaptability are improved in a self-adaptive manner, the escalator utilization efficiency is improved on the basis of meeting safety, and energy consumption is reduced.
