The invention discloses a dual-standby vehicle speed measuring method based on radar and image processing. The dual-standby vehicle speed measuring method comprises the following steps: step 1, mounting a dual-standby vehicle speed measuring device; and step 2, carrying out data acquisition, transmission and analysis processing to obtain the vehicle speed. According to the invention, the radar and the camera are used for speed measurement, and different speed measurement selections are given according to the ambient illuminance, so that the service life of the radar and the camera can be prolonged, the effectiveness of speed measurement is ensured, and the phenomenon that the speed measurement of the camera is not accurate enough under the condition of insufficient illuminance is avoided; the method is simple in step, convenient to implement, high in speed measurement reliability, capable of recording overspeed vehicles through the wireless communication module, high in practicability, good in use effect and convenient to popularize and use.

    本发明公开了一种基于雷达和图像处理的双备式车速测量方法,包括以下步骤:步骤一、双备式车速测量装置的安装;步骤二、数据采集、传输和分析处理,得到车辆速度。本发明采用了雷达和摄像头进行测速,且根据环境光照度给出不同的测速选择,能够延长雷达和摄像头的使用寿命,且保证了测速的有效性,避免了在光照度不够的情况下摄像头测速不够精确的现象出现;方法步骤简单,实现方便,测速的可靠性高,能够通过无线通信模块实现超速车辆的记录,实用性强,使用效果好,便于推广使用。
