The strain sensor is attached to the thin section and deviates from or faces the bevel edge. The measuring instrument is simple in structure, convenient to carry and operate and reliable in measurement, and the labor intensity of measurement work is reduced; whether the detected gap is in a safety range is judged according to the calculated gap width, and a worker adjusts the gap according to a result, so that potential safety hazards are eliminated, and elevator taking safety of passengers is guaranteed.
