The invention relates to a device (1) for protecting a radar (3) of a motor vehicle. The device comprises a body (5) made of a material transparent to radar waves and light, a support (7) opaque to light and transparent to radar waves, a surface illuminating element (9) transparent to radar waves, and an electrically conductive heating track (11) disposed on a surface of the body (5).
