Provided is an elastomer reinforcement cord for which the problem of stress concentration at an interface between an elastomer and a metal cord has been resolved to improve durability. The elastomer reinforcement cord comprises metal filaments (1a and 1b) and a polymer material 3 having a melting point or softening point of 80 DEG C or more and 160 DEG C or less. Where a region outside the metal filaments within a region that has a core (11) and at least one sheath layer (12) and is surrounded by lines connecting the centers of the metal filaments constituting the outermost sheath layer in a cross section in the direction orthogonal to the axial direction after vulcanization is taken as a gap region, the gap region includes the polymer material, and the filling ratio, which is the proportion of the area of the polymer material, is more than 120% where the area of the gap region is 100%.
