The invention relates to the technical field of engineering machinery, in particular to a service braking system and a braking method of engineering machinery. The service braking system comprises an oil pump, a brake valve, a clutch valve, a brake, a gearbox, a motor, a controller and a battery, the oil inlet of the oil pump is connected to a oil tank, an oil outlet of the oil pump communicates with oil inlets of the brake valve and the clutch valve, an oil outlet of the brake valve communicates with the brake, and the brake is arranged on a drive axle; and the motor is connected with an input shaft of the gearbox, an output shaft of the gearbox is connected with the drive axle, a clutch is arranged between the input shaft and the output shaft of the gearbox, an oil outlet of the clutch valve is communicated with the clutch, and the brake pedal, the brake valve, the clutch valve, the motor and the battery are all electrically connected with the controller. By means of the mode, braking energy can be recycled, the energy utilization rate is increased, the requirement for wheel edge braking force can be lowered by recycling the braking energy, and the service life of the brake is prolonged.

    本发明涉及工程机械技术领域,尤其涉及一种工程机械的行车制动系统及制动方法,该行车制动系统包括油泵、制动阀、离合器阀、制动器、变速箱、电机、控制器以及电池,油泵的进油口与油箱连通,油泵的出油口与制动阀以及离合器阀的进油口均连通,制动阀的出油口与制动器连通,制动器设置于驱动桥;电机与变速箱的输入轴连接,变速箱的输出轴与驱动桥连接,变速箱的输入轴与输出轴之间设置有离合器,离合器阀的出油口与离合器连通,制动踏板、制动阀、离合器阀、电机以及电池均与控制器电连接。本发明能够对制动能量进行回收利用,提升了能源利用率,而且通过对制动能量进行回收,还能够降低轮边制动力的需求,提高了制动器的使用寿命。
