The invention relates to the field of offshore platform dismantling, and in particular, relates to a buffering device for dismantling an upper module of an offshore platform through a double-ship method. A butt-joint coupling mechanism is arranged on a moving mechanism and comprises an outer sleeve, a butt-joint coupler, horizontal buffer rubber, vertical buffer rubber and a guide part; the butt-joint coupler, the horizontal buffer rubber, the vertical buffer rubber and the guide part are arranged in the outer sleeve, and a top cover is fixed to the top of the outer sleeve; and the bottom of the outer sleeve is connected with a moving mechanism, the butt-joint coupler is located above the guide part, a groove is formed in the surface of the top of the butt-joint coupler, a plurality of layers of grooves are formed in the annular outer side face of the butt-joint coupler, and the horizontal buffer rubber is arranged in the groove. Through accurate positioning and butt joint of an offshore platform dismantling inserting tip, the collision load in the process is reduced as much as possible; meanwhile, the generated collision load can be buffered and absorbed, and then the purposes of improving the safety of the platform dismantling process and the dismantling efficiency and quality are achieved.
