The invention further provides a steering wheel adjusting control system based on falling-into-water escape, the steering wheel adjusting control system comprises a controller and a liquid level sensor, the liquid level sensor is located at the upper end of a wheel hub, the signal input end of the controller is in communication connection with the liquid level sensor, and the signal output end of the controller is in communication connection with the angle locking motor and the angle adjusting motor. The invention further provides a control method of the control system, and the control method is used for automatically unlocking the movable tubular column and adjusting the angle of the movable tubular column and the telescopic handle when the liquid level exceeds the set liquid level, so that the escape space is increased, and rapid escape is achieved.
