The invention discloses a thermal protection method and device for an IGBT module and a vehicle, and the method comprises the steps: whether a cooling system of a vehicle breaks down or not is detected; when it is detected that the cooling system breaks down, the current maximum torque and the current maximum power of a motor controller of the vehicle are reduced to preset maximum torque and preset maximum power respectively, wherein the preset maximum torque is smaller than the current maximum torque, and the preset maximum power is smaller than the current maximum power; and when the fault of the cooling system is prompted, the preset maximum torque and the preset maximum power serve as limiting values of the motor controller, so that the temperature of an IGBT module of the motor controller is controlled to be lower than the damage temperature. Therefore, the problem that thermal protection of the IGBT module cannot be effectively achieved in the prior art is solved, it is guaranteed that a driver can drive the vehicle to a maintenance point for detection and maintenance under the condition that the cooling system is not damaged, and the safety of the whole vehicle is improved while the reliability of the whole vehicle is improved.

    本申请公开了一种IGBT模块的热保护方法、装置及车辆,其中,方法包括:检测车辆的冷却系统是否故障;在检测到冷却系统故障时,将车辆的电机控制器的当前最大扭矩和当前最大功率分别降至预设最大扭矩和预设最大功率,其中,预设最大扭矩小于当前最大扭矩,预设最大功率小于当前最大功率;在提示冷却系统故障的同时,根据预设最大扭矩和预设最大功率作为电机控制器的限制值,以控制电机控制器的IGBT模块的温度低于损坏温度。由此,解决了相关技术中无法有效实现对IGBT模块热保护的问题,使得冷却系统故障在自身不受损害的状态下,保证驾驶员能够将车辆开到维修点进行检测维修,在提高整车可靠性的同时,提高整车安全性。
