The invention discloses a signal control method for an intersection with insufficient broadened lane length. When the intersection is in an unsaturated state, the queueing length of common vehicles is smaller than the broadened length of a road, and when the intersection is in a saturated state, the queuing length of the vehicles is often larger than the broadened length of the road, and the queuing vehicles overflow a broadened road section. When the vehicles pass, the vehicles turning left and going straight on the road section are mixed together and interwoven with each other, and the passing efficiency of subsequent vehicles is seriously affected. Aiming at the phenomenon, the invention provides the method for optimizing by splitting the signal phase of the intersection, and the method is used for solving the problem that the traffic efficiency of the signal intersection with the broadened lane in the traffic saturation state is low.
本发明公开了一种展宽车道长度不足的交叉口信号控制方法。在交叉口处于非饱和状态时,一般车辆的排对长度小于道路的展宽长度,而在交叉口处于饱和状态下时,车辆的排队长度往往会大于道路的展宽长度,排队的车辆溢出展宽路段。当车辆通行时,在此路段左转、直行车辆混合在一起,相互交织,严重影响后续车辆的通行效率。针对这一现象,提出了通过拆分交叉口信号相位的进行优化的方法,用于解决交通饱和状态下具有展宽车道的信号交叉口通行效率低的问题。
