The method comprises the steps of sending a gear change signal and a visual angle adjusting signal; generating a corresponding visual angle adjusting signal according to the gear change signal; adjusting a shooting angle of an external rear-view camera according to the visual angle adjusting signal, wherein the visual angle adjusting signal comprises a received visual angle adjusting signal or a visual angle adjusting signal generated according to a gear change signal; and obtaining a video signal at the corresponding shooting angle. The streaming media rearview mirror visual angle adjusting system comprises a vehicle gear controller, a visual angle adjusting key, a streaming media controller, an external rearview camera and a streaming media rearview mirror, and the vehicle gear controller, the visual angle adjusting key, the streaming media controller, the external rearview camera and the streaming media rearview mirror are electrically connected. According to the streaming media rearview mirror visual angle adjusting method and system, a driver presses a visual angle adjusting key for manual adjustment, and pictures of a streaming media rearview mirror are automatically adjusted according to a vehicle gear controller.
