The invention discloses a gantry lifting mechanism which comprises a gantry rack. A horizontal conveying guide rail is installed on the top of the gantry rack, a horizontal conveying sliding block in sliding fit with the horizontal conveying guide rail is installed on the horizontal conveying guide rail, a support is installed on the top face of the horizontal conveying sliding block, a base is installed on the top of the support, and a vertical guide sleeve is fixedly installed on the base. A vertical guide rail in sliding fit with the vertical guide sleeve is installed in the vertical guide sleeve, a grabbing mechanism is fixedly installed at the bottom of the vertical guide rail, and a lifting motor for driving the vertical guide rail to ascend and descend is further fixedly installed on the base. The gantry lifting mechanism is novel in structure, adopts a motor lifting mode to replace an air cylinder driving mode, has a larger action stroke than the air cylinder driving mode, overcomes stroke limitation, and is rapid and stable in response action and high in transmission precision.
