The invention discloses an aircraft traction robot and a working method thereof. The robot comprises an omni-directional moving chassis formed by a heavy-load frame body and Mecanum wheel assemblies distributed on the periphery of the heavy-load frame body; aircraft supporting plates are installed at the front end and the rear end of the upper portion of the heavy-load frame body in a liftable mode through lifting assemblies correspondingly; laser sensors used for detecting the distance between the aircraft supporting plates and an aircraft connecting point are arranged on the outer side of supporting grooves in the aircraft supporting plates; locking connecting assemblies used for locking the aircraft are arranged on the two sides of the middle of the upper portion of the heavy-load frame body; PSD sensors corresponding to laser emitters at the bottom of the aircraft in a one-to-one mode are distributed on the upper portion of the heavy-load frame body; a navigation code reader used for collecting and analyzing two-dimensional codes at node positions on a traction path is arranged on the heavy-load frame body; and a control panel used for man-machine interaction, controlling execution components on the aircraft traction robot and displaying working information of the aircraft traction robot is arranged on the heavy-load frame body. The airplane traction robot has the advantages of low cost, small turning radius, high traction precision and high working efficiency.
