The invention relates to a unit train control system including a train-to-train communication module provided on a unit train for direct data communication with another unit train of a vehicle or an adjacent vehicle and a train solution control module connected with the train-train communication module and used for carrying out train solution control on the unit train according to the train-train communication data transmitted by the train-train communication module in combination with the position data of the unit train. According to the system, the departure interval can be obviously shortened compared with the traditional CBTC control by utilizing the vehicle-vehicle communication module, and meanwhile, the configuration of trackside equipment can be reduced, so that the high fusion of all systems can be promoted, the operation efficiency is greatly improved, and the construction cost and the operation cost are saved.
