The invention discloses a rail transverse force sensor, and relates to the field of transverse force sensors, the rail transverse force sensor comprises a sensor elastomer, the sensor elastomer is provided with a dowel bar used for abutting against a rail in a penetrating mode, and the rail transverse force sensor further comprises a fixing mechanism used for detachably connecting the sensor elastomer with the rail; a strain gauge is installed in the sensor elastomer. The problem that a plurality of transverse force sensors need to be arranged to measure rail deformation can be solved.
