The invention discloses a stall detection device and a stall detection method. The stall detection device comprises a first transmission part, a second transmission part connected on a same axis with the first transmission part, a stall detection disc arranged on the first transmission part, a stall detection rod with one end arranged on the second transmission part and the other end located at the same circumferential position together with the stall detection disc, and a photoelectric detection part located on the outer side of the stall detection rod and the stall detection disc; and the photoelectric detection part, the stall detection disc and the stall detection rod are located at the same circumferential position. When the stall detection device in the embodiment of the invention stalls, the first transmission part and the second transmission part generate relative motion, the stall detection rod is in contact with the stall detection disc, and the photoelectric detection part sends a stall signal after detecting that the stall detection rod is in contact with the stall detection disc, so that stall detection is realized. Therefore, an elevator car and a high-low speed brake can be stopped in time when the elevator car has a stall fault, and the safety of passengers and the stability of equipment are greatly improved.
本发明公开了一种失速检测装置及失速检测方法,所述失速检测装置包括:第一传动部;第二传动部,与第一传动部连接在同一轴线;失速检测盘,设置在第一传动部上;失速检测杆,一端设置在第二传动部上、另一端与失速检测盘位于同一周向位置;光电检测部,位于失速检测杆和失速检测盘外侧,且与失速检测盘和失速检测杆位于同一周向位置。本发明实施例中的失速检测装置在失速时,第一传动部和第二传动部产生相对运动,失速检测杆与失速检测盘相触碰,光电检测部检测到失速检测杆与失速检测盘相触碰后,发送失速信号,以此实现失速检测。以确保轿厢发生失速故障时及时停止轿厢及高低速刹车,从而大大提高了乘客的安全性和设备的稳定性。
