The invention discloses an adjustable pitch propeller shafting locking device which comprises an operating hand wheel, brake calipers, a brake disc, a shaft and a friction plate, the operating hand wheel is connected with the brake calipers, the brake calipers make contact with the brake disc to generate friction, the brake disc is installed on the shaft, and the friction plate is arranged between the brake calipers and the brake disc. According to the adjustable pitch propeller shafting locking device, huge friction force is produced by the brake disc and the brake calipers, free rotation kinetic energy of the shafting after removal can be converted into heat energy, operation is convenient and safe, and the construction and purchase cost is greatly saved.
