The invention relates to a chain block lifter. According to the chain block lifter, a single-end worm is adopted, and a worm and a worm wheel of a second-stage structure are adopted to drive a large transmission ratio, so that the tension of a hand chain is very small, and labor is saved (suitable for being controlled by old people and children); and being wound around a winding drum multiple layers, a steel rope enables the lifting distance during lifting on a high floor or in a deep well to be safer and more reliable without limitation to the load capacity. According to the chain block lifter, various defects of a welding chain of a chain block in the prior art are overcome, reliable braking is realized through self-locking of the worm wheel, the defects that in the prior art, a friction plate and a ratchet wheel are prone to abrasion and slipping during braking are overcome, the fatal defects in the prior art are completely eradicated, and the safe and reliable lifter is applied and popularized to meet wide requirements.
