The invention relates to an improved handlebar and brake handle of an electric vehicle. A section of circular tube with a bayonet or thread structure is additionally arranged in circular tubes at twoends of the handlebar without end sockets of a handle sleeve, and then a plug with the same shape as a flat bulb is manufactured; the plug is connected with a clamping seat or the threaded structure on the section of circular tube additionally arranged in the handlebar into a whole through a clamping head with a buckle or a thread structure; and therefore, the spherical areas of the two ends of the handlebar are enlarged, and the elastic deformation capacity of the two ends of the handlebar is improved. The handle of a brake handle in the prior art is made into an elastic oval annular body, and the made annular body of the handle of the brake handle is fixedly connected with the base portion of an original brake handle into a whole; when the two ends of the handle of the brake handle are impacted by external force larger than brake force, the oval annular body of the handle of the brake handle can elastically deform; therefore, the contact area of the oval annular body impact point ofthe handle of the brake handle is increased at the moment of impact, and concentrated release of impact force is reduced; and the injury degree of the handlebar and the brake handle to the legs of a human body when the vehicle falls to the ground due to a accident is reduced.
