The invention relates to an escape ladder, a rail vehicle and a rail transit system, the escape ladder comprises a fixing rod, a pedal and an unfolding mechanism, one end of the fixing rod is used forbeing rotatably connected with a vehicle body of the rail vehicle, the fixing rod comprises a plurality of folding sections, and every two adjacent folding sections are hinged to each other; the twoadjacent folding sections have a folding state and an unfolding state; the pedal is arranged on the fixing rod; at least one pair of adjacent folding sections is provided with an unfolding mechanism,and in the pair of adjacent folding sections provided with the unfolding mechanism, the unfolding mechanism is used for driving one folding section in the pair of adjacent folding sections to rotate away from the other folding section so that the pair of adjacent folding sections can be converted into the unfolding state from the folding state. When the escape ladder is not required to be used, the length of the escape ladder can be reduced to the minimum by folding the plurality of folding sections of the fixed rod so as to reduce the space occupied by the escape ladder in a vehicle, and whenthe escape ladder is required to be used, the unfolding mechanism can drive the folding sections to be unfolded, so that the escape ladder is convenient to use.
